Backflow Management Training Courses in Oregon

Continuing Education Approvals:

All training courses are approved as shown on our schedule by Oregon Environmental Services Advisory Council (OESAC) for State of Oregon DHS-required CEU for initial certification or renewal. CEU may also be applicable to Drinking Water Program and Department of Environmental Quality for Water Distribution and Water Treatment Plant Operator's license renewal requirements. Contact those programs or visit the OESAC website at http://www.oesac.com/index.htm.

Landscape Contractor's Board Continuing Education Hours (CEH) for license renewal requirements are approved for Technical credits at our Tester, Repair & Confined Space classes. Visit their web site at http://egov.oregon.gov/LCB/Continuing_education.shtml.

Building Codes Division Code Related Credits (CR) are approved for continuing education requirements of your Oregon Plumbing license. Visit their web site at: http://www.cbs.state.or.us/bcd/programs/plumbing.html.

Tuition for all class registrations is transferable (not refundable) only IF the student notifies BMI three business days before the start of the class. BMI must have time to fill a vacated seat or you will forfeit your tuition fee. We do maintain wait lists for our classes so this allows another student in when we receive proper and courteous notification.

To reserve your space in the class, preregistration and prepayment is required. We will maintain a wait list when a class is full.

NOTE: BMI reserves the right to cancel any class due to lack of enrollment or weather-related emergencies.

1 A high school Diploma or equivalent is required to obtain an Specialist or Tester Certification in the State of Oregon.
2 1-year experience in a water system or plumbing is required to obtain the initial Specialist certification from the State of Oregon.
