Description:
A four-day course that will enable participants, upon successful completion, to obtain Oregon Department of Human Services certification as an Specialist. Topics include backflow incidents, hydraulics of backflow, design and function of backflow assemblies, Enforcement Document writing, regulations, establishing and maintaining a cross connection program, legal liabilities, safety, conducting surveys, customer education, and record keeping.
• This course will provide 2.8 CEU (OESAC-approved); 32 CR (Plumbing Program-approved Continuing Education).

A high school Diploma or equivalent is required to obtain a Specialist or Tester Certification in the State of Oregon. One-year experience in a water system or plumbing is required to obtain the initial Specialist certification from the State of Oregon. |
