Description:
A five-day course that will enable participants, upon successful completion, to obtain Oregon Department of Human Services certification for testing backflow prevention assemblies. Topics include backflow incidents, hydraulics, backflow assembly design, function and testing procedures, record keeping, assembly failure diagnosis, and tester safety. The focus of this course is learning and performing test procedures.
• This course will provide 3.5 CEU (OESAC-approved); 40 CEH (Landscape Contractors Board-approved for Technical credits); 40 CR (Plumbing Program-approved Continuing Education).
